SURELY ONE of t he a ll-t ime greats, t he Group A is genesis for HSV and what k icked off the partnership bet ween Holden and Tom Walkinshaw. It’s a lso what picked up t he pieces after HDT fell apart in the wake of the unmitigated f iasco with Brock y and the infamous Director and t he Polarizer mysticism nonsense. There were only ever 750 of t hese silver y-blue monsters ever produced, and to my eye, they’ve aged prett y well. Actually I might even like t he looks of t hese V8 brutes more now than I did back when they were showroom fresh. They’ve a lso got t he added benefit of being a sure-f ire investment for t he super f und, or at least t hat’s what you can tell t he minister of f inance if t hey ask why you’ve just bought it.
