2015 CHATEAU TRIJET BORDEAUX

This inexpensiv­e, non-mevushal wine is yet another winner. Château Trijet is made with grapes that are organicall­y grown, according to the European standards, which means that little to no pesticides are used on the vines. A blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, medium-bodied, with a silky mouth-feel as well as notes of raspberrie­s, black cherries, lavender and tobacco. It is very pleasant to drink now with meat or poultry dishes either cold or warm and will likely develop some of those lovely notes of wet earth and barnyard funk as it develops in the bottle over the next few years.

HIGHLAND PARK THE DARK

Highland Park latest special edition, THE DARK is a 17-yearold single-malt Scotch whisky which has been exclusivel­y matured in first-fill European oak sherry-seasoned casks and bottled at 52.9% ABV and delivers a distinctly deep flavor packed with dried fruits, nuts and spices and overlaid with hints of smoky peat, the perfect drink to escape from the wild weather outside, to meet up with friends and family and enjoy sharing long evenings of conversati­on over a dram or two.

PISCO PORTON

Pisco Porton is a super premium pisco, Peru’s native drink. Made from estate-grown grapes and traditiona­lly crafted, Porton has become a favorite of many. Pisco Porton is made using the “Mosto Verde Method” which uses a partially fermented must giving it more intense aromatics, rested for a total of 12 months and bottled wihtout dilution.
