AN ITALIAN DESIGN EXCELLENCE
Nerea Yacht was established in January 2019 to add a touch of Italian excellence to finer things like yachts. The beginning of the year saw the exciting launch of the NY24, successor, the NY24 Dark Bronze – a boat that stands with its Italian Design Excellence and state-of-the-art technological equipment. A brainchild of owner Dario Messina, NY24 is a testament of his skill in the field of boat making. The NY24 is built in collaboration with designers Alessio Battistini and Davide Bernardini of idealeITALIA; the NY24 is brought to us in three versions.
Crafted with warm and metallic colors the yacht exudes an exquisite elegant and sophisticated look. Every element is made with the attentive care, stylistic research, and production features of a tailored garment, of a unique made-to-measure piece. NY24 is also trailerable; thus, there is no need for special permits to move the boat into the lake or the sea.
THE DESIGN
The Nerea Yacht 24 Bark Bronze is a power-play of proportions and colors. The sleek design with optimum functioning only enhances your boat experience. The designers have managed to get very roomy interior spaces in less than 8 meters in length. The design is a result of meticulous research, and poses to be a specimen of the designer’s extensive experience. There is a beautiful synergy and balance between the aesthetical features and the practical uses.
The special-V”shape hull with 18.5° deadrise with lateral planning supports offers excellent support with the boat is moored or anchored. It also has a fast gliding entrance with a soft passage on the wave and safe driving even in rough seas. The very low draught enables one to enter bays and creeks as well. In the bow, a stem-head roller with an automatic anchor launch and retrieve system is designed to respect the external lines of the boat and is activated from the dashboard.
The drive is comfortable without any major complications makes the experience easy and enjoyable.
THE COCKPIT
The central cockpit is a beautiful convertible dinette where lowering the central table becomes an extended sunbathing area. The cockpit can be equipped with two drawer refrigerators, a concealed sink, and a stove to guarantee sociable entertainment. The pristine white and lush blue accents accentuate the contrast with the deep earthy tones of the boat. The entire walkable surface is covered by teak to give a classic yet modern signature to the boat style.
The spacious swim platform and the transom on three levels make onboarding easily accessible. The engine room hatch is controlled via a remote electrical opening, making inspections easy and simple. A central glass hatch, with double sliding doors, allows effortless access in the cabin as well as contributing to the diffused brightness below deck.
The heart of the boat is the living area in the central cockpit. The NY24 presents a cabin with a large container sofa, a convertible in a double berth. Space also has an enclosed toilet and an audio-video system, along with abundant natural light flooding the cabin, thanks to two long windows on the sides. The bimini top that extends over the entire living area provides protection from the sun. When not in use, you can replace it in a dedicated locker and the four-carbon poles find space inside two pockets created in the hull, very easily accessible from the cockpit.
THE VERSIONS
Nerea Yachts know how to add a touch of extra premium features to an already exclusive product. The NY24 would be available in two more variants, the NY24 GT and the NY24 Limo. NY24 GT presents an unmistakable design, being the perfect day cruiser for sunbathing and day trips. It is a fun and gritty motorboat that offers high performances combined with excellent maneuverability.
While the NY24 Limo, the third solution proposed for this model, aims in particular at owners looking for tenders of the same stylistic level of their superyacht. This version maintains the clean and stylish lines of the original model without the bridge and cabin; an all-open boat that being intentionally kept low, is ideally suited to quickly enter into the garage of large motor-yachts.
THE PERFORMANCE
Whatever be your favorite version, NY24 is a boat devoted to exclusivity, harmony of shapes and colors rich with materials and high-end finishing and synthesis that offers wide customization according to the preferences. The NY24 Dark Bronze is powered with the Volvo Penta engine that is one of the most powerful and safe products to ensure a top navigation experience. The Volvo engine is connected to the Duo-prop sterndrive that guarantees 300 hp choice, and a top speed of 39 knots and a comfortable cruising of 30 knots. The NY24 is capable of going 0 to 20 knots in just over 5 seconds; if that’s not the performance, we don’t know what is!
Finally, in the world where alternate energy resources are a must, the NY24 goes eco-friendly. The owner can additionally install an auxiliary electric jet propulsion system that allows autonomy up to an hour of navigation with a maximum speed of 5 knots: protected areas will immediately be the dream place to discover by cruising. The new eco-cement by Oltremateria is a water-based, re-proof, breathable, frost-proof, resistant, flexible, recyclable, and free from cement, epoxy resins, and therefore, in complete respect for the environment covers the table and the hatchway sides in the cockpit.
