The Wildlife Pho­tographer of the Year ex­hi­bi­tion is on now at the Aus­tralian Na­tional Mar­itime Mu­seum, on loan from the Na­tional His­tory Mu­seum in Lon­don. The ex­hi­bi­tion fea­tures 100 awe-in­spir­ing images, show­cas­ing wild land­scapes and an­i­mals in their nat­u­ral habi­tats. The win­ning en­tries were se­lected from al­most 50,000 en­tries from 96 coun­tries, and will be seen by mil­lions of peo­ple around the globe. Kevin Sump­tion, di­rec­tor of the Aus­tralian Na­tional Mar­itime Mu­seum, said the ex­hi­bi­tion held broad ap­peal due to its rich sub­ject mat­ter show­cas­ing the di­ver­sity of life. “This is one of the most in­no­va­tive and pop­u­lar pho­to­graphic com­pe­ti­tions of its kind and we are de­lighted that Syd­ney au­di­ences can once again en­joy these un­for­get­table and in­spir­ing images.” The 52nd Wildlife Pho­tographer of the Year Ex­hi­bi­tion will run un­til 9 Oc­to­ber, 2017. anmm.gov.au
