Accor’s Community

AccorHotels Australia has founded a Community Fund, with money raised to focus on Building Healthy Families. The Fund supports three focus areas – Youth, Health & Wellbeing and Diversity through four foundation partners, with all making significant positive impacts in the Australian community. The Garvan Institute of Medical Research will be directing Community Fund money into Rare and Neglected Cancer research programs, Lifeline will use the funds for their Text Crisis Support Project while AIME Mentoring funds will help grow the mentoring program from 6,000 to 10,000 Indigenous high school students by 2020. The Kokoda Youth Foundation will use the funds for their On the Right Track Program, which targets Year 9 students with learning, behavioural or social challenges.
