Michelin-starred Washington
The first Michelin Guide for Washington D.C. was released in 2016, with 12 restaurants making the grade in this prestigious guide to the world’s best restaurants. Minibar by José Andrés received two stars, and no wonder, with a night out here more like a specialoccasion show. Four seatings of six diners are treated to the magic each night, with next level creative food and drinks designed to thrill the senses and push the limits of what is possible from food. From the Floral Cloud cocktail to the one-bite bourbon peanut served in a hand cast, and the kinder egg surprise at the end of the night – a chocolate egg encasing a Lego toy and your bill. Other restaurants to get the nod include Masseria, the Blue Duck Tavern at the Park Hyatt, Plume at the Jefferson and The Dabney. washington.org; minibarbyjoseandres.com; masseria-dc.com; hyatt.com; plumedc.com; thedabney.com
