Cathay launches its own par­fum

To re­mind Aus­tralians about their hol­i­day in Hong Kong, Cathay Pa­cific has cre­ated Par­fums de Voy­age – a sci­en­tif­i­cally crafted per­fume designed to ig­nite pas­sen­gers’ mem­o­ries long after vis­it­ing Hong Kong. The fra­grance has been designed in col­lab­o­ra­tion with a renowned per­fume ex­pert, Sa­man­tha Tay­lor, of The Pow­der Room. New re­search, com­mis­sioned by the air­line, re­veals that two-thirds of Aus­tralians (65 per cent) wish they could do more than take pho­tos (the re­search showed that most Aussie trav­ellers take 33 pic­tures a day on av­er­age) to re­mem­ber their hol­i­days. Smell is one of the great ways to bring back mem­o­ries and is faster and stronger than our other senses.
