Lindy Alexander

There’s almost nothing travel writer Lindy Alexander wouldn’t do for a story. She’s squeezed into a sparkly spandex tail for mermaid lessons in the Philippines, danced in an Indian wedding procession and spraypainted a wall in Melbourne's CBD. Lindy regularly contributes to some of Australia’s best-known and well-loved publications, and has won the Grace Marion Wilson Prize for a story about her travels in Rwanda. A devoted epicurean, Lindy often wonders just how much food she can fit into her luggage. @lindyalexanderwriter

Carolyn Beasley

Having spent nine years between Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore, she embraces sweat and values good laksa. This Perth-based writer now contributes to publications in seven countries. If you’re looking for her, you’ll hopefully find her underwater, exploring a pristine coral reef. @familyecotravel
