Ruby sails into town
Michelin-starred Australian chef Curtis Stone joined the team from Carnival Australia to welcome Princess Cruises’ Ruby Princess into Sydney Harbour recently, marking her maiden arrival at the start of the summer cruise season. Ruby Princess now features a new six-course fine dining menu designed by chef Stone for his onboard restaurant, Share. The 3,080-guest ship which underwent a complete refurbishment in 2018 is also the first smart ship to sail in Australia, being activated with Princess MedallionClass wearable devices in late January 2020. The 2021 Princess cruise season is now on sale, which will include a Sea Princess voyage, her longest world cruise out of Sydney – visiting 44 destinations in 29 countries.
