Espacio: The Jewel of Waikiki » Hawaii

- Espaciowaikiki.com.

Directly across the road from the Duke Paoa Kahanamoku Statue at Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, the new Espacio property by Aqua-Aston Hospitality has opened after a US$50 million renovation. The luxury ninefloor, nine-suite property is designed to appeal to discerning guests wanting a refined accommodation option in the popular Waikiki strip. Every suite occupies a single floor and includes personalised service and privacy. Each suite, either two- or three-bedrooms and three-and-a-half-bathrooms, is individually appointed with rare artworks and dining room tables crafted from a whole marble slab imported from Carrara, Italy; metalwork and lighting accents from Morocco; and hand-knotted carpets from China. All suites feature balconies with ocean views and a Jacuzzi; a private dry-sauna within the bathroom and access to a luxury fleet of cars. The onsite Japanese-French restaurant Mugen is helmed by chef Jason Yamaguchi, while the rooftop Jacuzzi and infinity offer some of the best views in Oahu. Rates start from US$5,000 (about A$7,250) per night.
