DION LEE,
ANNA PLUNKETT DION LEE, NEW YORK
“Initially, it was really challenging for me to slow down and adapt to living and working in isolation. However, once I adjusted to the pace, I have really enjoyed the opportunity to step back from my daily routine and have time to reflect on the bigger picture. My apartment has often felt like a transient space, as I work long hours and travel at least once a month. I generally live a very fast-paced life in New York – my home allows me an environment to unwind and step away from work.”

“We have set up areas in all of the rooms for different activities – the living room is for music and game playing, with the piano, guitars and a large table covered in puzzles. The study is for quiet working time and reading, where you snuggle on the couch or type looking out to the green garden. The kitchen is home to the cubby house, where the kitchen table doubles as a ping pong table and has concrete floors that are perfect for sliding around in your socks! Upstairs, our spare bedroom has been transformed into the pillow-fighting or wrestling corner, with all the objects and artwork cleared so nothing can be broken. I love watching the trees sway in the wind, chasing the sunlight as it moves around the house, all to the backdrop of kids riding on the street.”
