More suited to lounging than exercise, the latest incarnations of trackie daks have restored their sports-geek chic.

There was a time when a mention of late-90s, early- 00s matching sport suits would elicit a derisive smirk. We know, we were there. But a tweak of the eye, helped along by the street-savvy golden touch of Gosha Rubchinskiy and Vetements, which collaborated with Juicy Couture, Reebok and Champion, has changed that. Alessandro Michele at Gucci paid homage to the look with his eccentric lounging ladies, pairing tracksuits with furs and Iris Apfel-esque spectacles. Far from the athletic tracks, with less actual running and more lounging and with fuller stretched-out silhouettes, it is the perfect uniform for the post-athleisurewear world.
