Botanicals are having their moment, capturing the mood of the new season.

Blooms are back. In bursts and bountiful blossoms, they’ve once again spilt forth from the fertile soils of fashion’s finest minds. Radiant tulips, Dutch Master style, arched across antique-rose blazers at Gucci, while twiggy rose sprigs climbed the legs of Dries Van Noten pantsuits, the designer speaking of “realness” backstage after the show. Well, what’s more real than nature? In line with fashion’s modus operandi, right now anything goes: wear it head to toe or dip into it via be-tendrilled accessories; it’s about making an elaborate gesture through clothes. Just plant the sartorial seed and watch it flower. From left: Abby wears a Loewe dress, $5,150, and scarf, P.O. A. Gucci hat, $540. Harlequin Market earrings, $350, and bracelet, $750. Hermès bag, $14,315. Christian Dior shoes, $3,300. Roberta wears a Gucci jacket, $3,995, pants, $1,475, cuff (worn on hand), $1,165, necklace, $1,995, bag, $5,050, and shoes, $1,430. Skye wears a Dolce & Gabbana jacket and top, P.O. A. Prada skirt, $2,880, belt, $1,010, bag, $3,090, socks, $370, and shoes, $1,780. Salvatore Ferragamo scarf, $550.
