From Brodie Neill’s Made in Ratio showroom on chic Via Palermo to Henry Wilson’s Cast Impressions at Aēsop’s Brera store, Australian design enjoyed its strongest presence yet at this year’s Milan Design Week. Supported by Brickworks Building Products (in an installation that included 8000 hand-placed La Paloma White Artico bricks), 11 Australians showed under the umbrella of Local Design. Curated by Local Design creative director Emma Elizabeth, the work of Australia’s foremost designers was shown in the magnificent 15th-century Oratorio Della Passione.
