THE STANDOUT TREND: Ceramics

-

Ceramics have been on Milan’s radar for some time but never so omnipresent — or so directional — as this year. Ceramics (and in particular large groupings of them) are officially a thing. Bitossi Ceramiche and Rina Menardi are, in our opinion, still the maestros (Max Lamb’s range for Bitossi was a must-see and Menardi’s vibrant stoneware palette inspirational), but we also loved the ethereal 3D-printed ceramics at Airbnb; the curated vintage ceramics at Baxter and Studiopepe’s The Visit; and the whimsical designs by Elena Salmistraro and Jaime Hayon at Bosa. Visit bitossiceramiche.it; rinamenardi.com; bosatrade.com; www.baxter.it; studiopepe.info.
