Classics on show
The Classic Chrome Bumper Show ‘n Shine, in conjunction with 38th FX FJ Holden state titles, was held at Logan Park last weekend.
Scrutineering for the FX FJ component of the event was held at Barry Bourke Warragul on Saturday. Cars were classified into five categories including stock, improved stock, street custom, mild custom, wild custom and radical before judging on Sunday.
Many of the exhibitors headed to the Holden Museum in Trafalgar after the scrutineering, before a dinner and auction on Saturday night and judging and a trophy presentation on Sunday.
Cars came from all over Victoria and southern New South Wales to be part of the event.
FX FJ Holden Club of Australia (Melbourne chapter) president Peter Paproth said “we really wanted to bring these great cars out to the country this year so people can see how good these old machines still look”.
