Local women compete at Masters
West Gippsland was well represented at the recent 2015 Masters Games held in Adelaide.
Warragul cyclist Robyn Baker won three gold medals in the road race, time trial and criterium.
Three local women Anne Pryjmak, Bronwyn Wallace and Michelle Coates competed in the softball for the Northern Rebels.
After playing 11 games they finished second in the strong competition.
They took out the silver medal after being beaten by Gawler in the grand final. The team had beaten Gawler earlier in the completion but couldn’t continue their winning form into the grand final.
More than 10,000 participants from across the country took part in a wide variety of sports at many different venues.
A total of 50 sports were played over eight days.
