FUN, GAMES, TRICKS AT CHILDREN’S EXPO
A warm and sunny day, Koko the clown and plenty of other things to do created lots of excitement for children from across Baw Baw shire at the Children’s Expo in Warragul last Wednesday.
There was plenty to do in the grounds of the shire’s Family and Children’s Services premises in Normanby St for children still at the crawling stages and those up to five years old.
Playing tricks on Koko was a favourite among the older children.
There were things to build, climb on or through, get the hands dirty and play with toys floating in tubs.
The expo attended by parents, mainly mums, as part of Children’s Week also had a pram walk around adjoining Eastern Park, a story time session in the library and Teddy Bears’ picnic.
Baw Baw shire’s Family and Children’s Services section runs a maternal and child health centre, family day care, a supported play group, manages kindergarten enrolments and a pre-school field officer.
