Draw in badminton
Labertouche Blue and Warragul Blue played out the first draw of the Mid Gippsland junior badminton season.
Warragul had a good win in the first doubles, Labertouche fought back with close wins in the next two doubles games but Warragul still lead in aces. Ash gave his team the lead after his singles in both games and aces.
Kylie for Warragul then worked hard and brought the lead back towards her team leaving it to the last game on the night to decide the winner.
Both Tamara and Andrew fought for every ace, Tamara needing to win to give Warragul the match and Andrew needing to get as many aces as possible for Labertouche to win.
It came down to who could win the last ace of the night which Tamara did but Andrew did enough to secure a draw.
The association doubles tournament will be played on June 24.
