Marriage from nature

The truth is that marriage is given to us by nature and affirmed by every culture because man and woman are uniquely empowered to nuture new life.

Such empowerment is hated by those who hate such power being in the hands of mere citizens. Governments like our own are among those haters; they make many laws to try and curb creation and nuture of new life by the natural parents - a man and a woman.

“Same-sex marriage' proponents would like our government (that is, the citizens in a democracy) to give them “rights” to marriage. Such “rights” are not in the power of governments (citizens) to give. Marriage is given by nature.

But if such "rights” are 'given by governments', these “rights” can also be taken away or manipulated (at the convenience of the totalitarian despot at the head). Governments can throw marriage which ever way they fancy in the hope that they can bully parents out of the way and then government can have free rein over all children and all future generations.

Our present poorly educated, historically naive society is being 'drip-fed' by its government and media on every front. It seems to be very difficult for us to get our minds around the fact that such inroads into our freedoms are actually at our door. Australia wake up! Do not allow government to change the basic marriage aspect of our culture.
