Imagine life without the Police or Federal police force. Life would be worthless and your property would become anyones.
Drugs, sexual abuse and violence would reign down on everyone. Gangs roaming the streets terrorizing whoever they came across.
Murder and mayhem a daily occurrence and there would be no authority to stop it.
Many people have the same attitude towards a Heavenly authority.
God is a myth to some and to others an angry uncaring being. Yet, in a crisis call on the name of God to help them, interesting isn't it?
No matter what our beliefs there is heavenly governing authority that holds everything in place.
The role of Christian Churches is to create a safe environment for those who attend and to show God’s love and compassion. Many may not believe in a higher authority but God’s love is available to everyone who calls on name.
In Romans 13:v1--7 God’s word states "submit to governing authorities, because they are appointed by Him". They are placed there by God to protect us all. Now Church believes we should honour those in authority. Some countries have no vote and therefore Dictatorship reigns. We are a blest nation to be able to vote.
Now Church meets at 68 Queen street, Warragul. Time; 9.30 am every Sunday. Wednesday evenings at 6pm for prayer and Bible discussion, everyone is welcome.
