-

Nilma-Darnum edged out Catani in an epic with the final kick of the day sealing a five-point win, 8-5 (53) to 7-6 (48).

The lead changed several times in a low scoring affair, with the Blues taking a narrow two point lead into three-quarter-time.

The win was made even more meritorious for the Bombers given five brothers lined up in the senior team for the first time in the history of the club.

Tom Campbell, Nicholas Wilcox, Luke Bartlett, Logan Deschepper, Zeke Lamb and Jeremy Smith ensured the Bombers held the ascendency when it mattered most.

Luke McFarlane, Dylan Williams, Nicholas Visser, Josh Brown, Hayden Lownds and James Williams helped the Blues to almost pinch an upset.
