BJ Bearings donates to Blokes BBQ

-

BJ Bearings Warragul recently held a successful two and a half day mega clearance under the big top in their car park.

More than 600 people visited the BJ Bearings premises during the sale with many items sold at cost or below.

It was a great opportunity for the local community to take advantage of the great deals and excited customers were queued at the gates each day eager to get amongst the bargains.

After the successful sale, BJ Bearings regional sales manager Grant Gray announced that the company would be donating a $2000 KC Tools tool stack to be auctioned or raffled at the Baw Baw Big Blokes BBQ fundraiser to be held at Lardner Park on October 14.

People visiting the library in Warragul may have noticed the building next door now houses a group of cardiologists, ‘Melbourne Heart Care – Warragul’.

Melbourne Heart Care is not new to Warragul, and have been providing cardiology support to the population of West Gippsland for more than five years. They were previously located at the Baw Baw Physicians rooms near the hospital, but, having now expanded to 10 cardiologists, felt the time was right to set up a dedicated heart care centre in West Gippsland.

The Melbourne Heart Care cardiologists are a highly specialised and enthusiastic team of doctors whom also work as staff specialists at Monash Heart, where they treat complex heart problems referred from all over Victoria, including a large number of patients from West Gippsland.

The new centre at 2/71 Victoria Street, Warragul has been set up with the purpose of providing West Gippsland patients the same level of care they would receive if they were attending Monash Heart or one of their other Melbourne Heart Care locations in Melbourne.

The practice has daily consultation sessions for adult patients as well as a paediatric cardiologist who visits once a month.

They provide an extensive range of cardiac tests using brand new, state of the art equipment including cardiac ultrasound, stress testing and heart rhythm monitoring, with all the tests evaluated on-site by experts in the field.

Their friendly support staff are locals and one member of the cardiology team is a local, being born and raised in nearby Mirboo North.

Melbourne Heart Care-Warragul looks forward to a long future providing the finest cardiac care to the community of West Gippsland and beyond.
