Believe it or not

-

How many times have we been challenged to believe something in our lives.

How many times do we investigate what is shown, spoken about or thrown at us.

Many times we take everything at face value without ever doubting or checking the facts.

How many times has the truth been presented in a wrong way.

Everyone wants to be heard even if they don't present the true facts.

Radio presenting news to the masses on a daily basis but who questions what is being beamed over the airwaves.

There is a lot of things being presented that no one can doubt.

We see actual riots in Australia, America and Europe as examples. Truth though is a matter of personal interpretation.

People are sometimes lulled into a false sense of belief by the governing powers and media that all is well yet quite often this is so far from the truth. So what do we do and how do we filter out fact from fiction. Not as easy as it seems as our lives are bombarded daily from all angles of life. Sometimes it seems easier to believe lies over truth.

The Bible is a source of truth that has been proven over the years to be accurate. Jesus Christ said “you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free" John 8:v32.

Maybe it's time for you to check the Bible out? Now Church Warragul loves the truth of God’s word. We believe it is the power unto salvation.

Service times are Sunday @ 9.30 am at 68 Queen street, Warragul and Wednesday @ 6 pm for prayer and bible study. Chris Porter Care Pastor www.nowchurch.org. au

The burger game is strong in Melbourne, the foodie capital of the world; and it’s set to get stronger with a surprising new entrant serving up some absolutely, crackin’ burgers in the South Eastern suburbs.

You’d be forgiven if you haven’t yet ventured to Pakenham’s Car MegaMart Café unless you had recently purchased a new set of wheels; but make no mistake, there is much more to this car yard giant than first meets the eye.

The young team responsible for serving up all of your ‘dude food’ favourites, such as: the Crispy Chicken Burger, the Double Beef Burger and everyone’s go-to, the Cheese Burger with crispy bacon, are the talented brothers from O.MY – a highly celebrated Beaconsfield restaurant boasting a prestigious Chef’s Hat. Tyson Bertoncello, the eldest of the three Bertoncello brothers, is so far pretty pleased with the fan base the café is gaining locally.

“We’ve only recently taken on the management of the MegaMart Café, and the plan has always been to serve up everyone’s favourites packed full of flavour by using our home-grown ingredi- ents.

“Visitors to the café are appreciating that the mayo, relish and patties in our burgers for example, are all prepared by our chefs here onsite.” he said.

“We pride ourselves on fresh, flavoursome food; so the next steps will see us updating the menu to include a buffet salad bar soon as well.

“With the car yard now in its third year of operation, the ongoing expansion of the complex and the café is giving everyone a great feeling for the future,” Tyson said.

So alas, for fear of this secret not staying so for much longer; the next time you’re in the mood to wrap your hands around the best burger in town, remember Car MegaMart… and that you heard it here first!

Car MegaMart is a purpose built integrated car complex, located in the Shire of Cardinia – one of the fastest growing municipalities in Australia and situated just off the Monash Fwy, Pakenham, Victoria. To find out more, please visit: www.carmegamart.com.au
