Trailing by just six-points at the final change, the Bulldogs had a sniff and didn’t let the opportunity slip. They banged through five goals while keeping the Cats to just one-point to win 7-5 (47) to 2-11 (23).

Mitchell Young booted four goals to be best for the Bulldogs. Sam Davies, Matthew Sloan, James Hynes and David Bates supported him.
