Blokes Barbeque launch night

-

The 2016 Baw Baw Big Blokes Barbeque organisers held the annual launch night at the Warragul Reception and Conference Centre at the Warragul Country Club last Wednesday night.

The Baw Baw Big Blokes Barbeque is to be held at Lardner Park on Friday, October 14.

The 2016 line up will be the best ever, with Corporal Mark Donaldson VC, our first Victoria Cross recipient in 40 years, headlining the day. Other speakers include comedians Dave O’Neil and Des Dowling.

Demand for patron level sponsorships has been hotter than ever, with Viatek, Harcourts Warragul, Malady Electrical, Bendigo Bank Warragul, Warragul & Drouin Gazette, Blackwoods Warragul Ready Mixed & Garden Supplies, Robertson Wouters and John Duff & Co all committing to patron level sponsorships of the event.

A variety of sponsorship packages are available for this year’s event and one table of ten remains available at $1300. Please visit bawbawbigblokes.com for further details on table sales and sponsorships or keep your eye on the Gazette over the coming weeks.

Congratulations to Maz Byrne of Cloverlea. Maz won the Sealy bedding package valued at over $3000 recently at Furniture Plus Sleep Zone.

On Friday the 26th of August, she was one of many brave punters that dressed in their pyjamas and ventured into Furniture Plus in Gladstone Street Warragul, jumped into bed and had her photo taken with Deaksy from 3GG. For her bravery, Maz won the $3000 Sealy bedding package.
