Drouin continue fine form

-

With thanks to greens director Kelvin Marriott and his assistant Michael Fry, the Drouin croquet venue and its surrounds looked an absolute picture when it hosted Wonthaggi 2 in West Gippsland golf croquet pennant last Tuesday.

Coming of a win against Warragul the previous week, Wonthaggi 2 found the Drouin team in excellent form and could only manage a one game win in the eight singles games.

Drouin continued on with its form, taking all but one of the six doubles games.

Player of the match went to Kelvin Marriott, who won all of his five games and ended the day 13 hoops up.

With only two matches left to be played in the first half of the fixture, Drouin travel to Morwell today. Results: Drouin 12 games, 91 hoops defeated Wonthaggi 2 two games, 64 hoops

Warragul

Warragul Croquet Club played host to Korumburra last Tuesday for their round five pennant match.

Korumburra has only re-entered pennant this season and found Warragul too strong on the day.

Warragul won 12 games to two, with 90 hoops to 65.
