Gippsland League teams of the year were announced at last week’s presentati­on dinner.

Three from Warragul - Brad Scalzo, Nathaniel Paredes and Brayden Fowler - and one from Drouin, Bob McCallum, were named in the football side.

Drouin was strongly represente­d in the netball team by Jessie Hedley, Christie Edwards and Stacie Gardiner. FOOTBALL Backs: Adrian Slotje (Traralgon), Jordan Bourke (Traralgon), Tom Long (Moe).

Half backs: Zac Vernon (Leongatha), Chris Verboon (Leongatha), Sam Pleming (Maffra, captain).

Centres: Mark Collison (Traralgon), Brad Scalzo (Warragul), Kel Porter (Maffra).

Half forwards: John Gooch (Sale), Aaron Hillberg (Leongatha), Mitch Bennett (Maffra).

Forwards: Chris Dunne (Leongatha), Brayden Fowler (Warragul), Lee Stockdale (Traralgon).

Ruck/rovers: Bob McCallum (Drouin), Nathaniel Paredes (Warragul), Tom Marriott (Leongatha).

Interchang­e: Kane Martin (Sale), James Blaser (Moe), Danny Butcher (Maffra), Shem Hawking (Leongatha), Michael Kelly (Wonthaggi). Coach: Beau Vernon (Leongatha).
