Hallora take the points

Under 14

Bunyip v Hallora Hallora restricted Bunyip to 7/107 to take the points.

Liam Lenders retired on 41 and Liam O’Connor finished unbeaten on 24, while opener Lachlan Ho3ward chipped in with 16 to be Bunyip’s best.

Hallora simply didn’t give anything away with the ball, with their total of 3/185 never really in threat.

Christophe­r Diston returned the figures of 3/1 from four overs, while Brayden Notman and Jake Dean also chipped in with two wickets. Garfield-Tynong v Drouin Gold Garfield-Tynong easily surpassed Drouin Gold’s 4/89, finishing their 40 overs at 7/160.

Jake Tenace-Greenall (33), Mathew Jones (30) and W Pickering (21) led the scoring, while 52 extras helped the Titans’ chase significan­tly.

Jacob Sandman (2/5 from six overs) and Jake Achilles (2/9 from five) made a good start with the new ball before the Titans took control.

Adam Campbell chipped in with two wickets. Jindivick v Neerim District Neerim District fell short in pursuit of Jindivick’s 3/141, finishing at 8/108.

Neerim District openers Cooper Orwin and Lachlan Smith put on 52 for the first wicket to have the chase on track, but the Stags were stymied by regular wickets from there.

Wickets were shared by Jindivick, with Brayden Rintoule the multiple wicket taker. Buln Buln v Yarragon Buln Buln overcame some early wobbles to comfortabl­y chase down Yarragon’s modest score of 8/72.

Brenden Wall retired on 35 while Brock Walsh finished unbeaten on 24 to guide the Lyrebirds to 6/116.

Gaige White made early inroads with the ball for Yarragon. Western Park v Longwarry Longwarry comfortabl­y accounted for Western Park, finishing at 9/153 in reply to the Warriors’ 7/99.

Liam Quarrell (46 not out) and Harry Stephens (31) guided the Crows home, while late order cameos from Daniel Pullen, Liam MacDonald and Finton Fox helped boost the total.

Jacob Konstanty (2/3) and Brayden Hefford (2/5) were the pick of the bowlers for Western Park.

Drouin Maroon v Ellinbank/Warragul

Drouin Maroon comfortabl­y chased down Ellinbank/Warragul’s 4/88, finishing all out for 178 in the 32nd over.

Lachlan Jagoe (41 not out) and Nicholas Caddy (40) put Drouin well and truly on target, while Cameron Caddy chipped in with 24.

Bryce Joyce and Jack Logan each took two wickets for the combine.

Under 16

Drouin v Garfield-Tynong Garfield-Tynong struggled in pursuit of Drouin’s 5/178, narrowly staving off outright defeat.

With four players unavailabl­e, the Titans reached 6/86 in their first innings.

Alphy Hosie top scored with 37, while Matthis Hyrst and Liam Bow also showed some resistance with 16 and 11 respective­ly.

Wickets were shared for Drouin, with Bailey Osseweyer and Shaun Custance each taking two wickets.

Asked to bat again with a tricky eight overs to face out, the Titans were on the brink of outright defeat as they fell to 5/14.

Hosie batted down the order and came to the rescue, scoring an unbeaten 17 to guide the Titans to the close.

Jordan and Brodie Carter did the damage with the second new ball, taking 3/10 and 2/7 respective­ly. Jindivick v Hallora/Ellinbank Hallora/Ellinbank successful­ly defended its 4/156 against Neerim District, bowling the Stags out for 100 in the final over of the day.

The combine bowled a discipline­d line and length, with the Stags never really a chance to meet the required run rate.

Heath Darcy led the charge with 42, while Lachlan Guy (18) and Jake Snelling (12) also made it to double figures.

Wickets were Hallora/Ellinbank, Lynch snaring two. Warragul v Bunyip Bunyip completed a dominant performanc­e over Warragul, racking up a huge score of 6/234.

Dylan Gallasch (17), Dalton Mooney (20), Xavier Kinder (33 not out) and Jason Pisa (26) laid a solid platform, allowing Jake Steward (50 not out) and Josh Murphy (44) to launch the Bulls to a big total.

Having been dismissed for 29 in their first innings, Warragul fared better second time round to finish at 4/76 from their 16 overs.
