Yoga is for every body
Warragul Yoga School has recently celebrated 43 years of providing yoga classes to the community of Warragul and surrounding areas.
Situated in Pine Grove, Maureen Ryan has created a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where classes are conducted by highly qualified teachers, with many years of experience in a specially built studio surrounded by beautiful, tranquil gardens.
“Many of my students have been attending our studio for years. They originally come to improve their overall wellbeing and end up forming beautiful relationships with other students which then becomes a weekly social catch up for them. It’s all part of having a balanced lifestyle.”
Whether your goal is to achieve improved health, stress reduction, strength, flexibility or to just recharge and have fun, our classes are for you.
Maureen believes that classes should be accessible to everybody regardless of their age, gender or fitness level. “Yoga is not about headstands and pushing yourself to compete with the person next to you. We are all different and have different abilities. The key to yoga is to listen to your body, to conquer your own challenges and to walk out of the class feeling better than when you first arrived.”
The classes all consist of Grounding, Asana (Movement), Pranayama (Breathwork), Yoga Nidra (Relaxation) and Meditation which is the true form of a yoga practice.
With four teachers, each with their own beautiful approach and style, and many class times to choose from including a new Wednesday 6.30pm class just starting, come and experience a class for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.
