Harcourts Warragul celebrates five years and looks to the future

-

Having serviced the local real estate industry since 1998, Evan Broadbent decided he’d completed a long enough apprenticeship and that it was time to embark on his own business. On February 6, 2012 Evan opened Harcourts Warragul.

Alongside loyal employees Breanna Collins and Brendon Van Eyk, whom are still employed today, the business began a successful journey to the present which sees a dedicated team of 16 servicing the local community.

In April 2012 the property management department began its rapid growth which has culminated in numerous ‘growth and development’ awards followed by a ‘best presented office’ award.

In 2015 the office was recognised as a ‘top five office of the year’ at the Harcourts Victoria annual awards ceremony.

More recognition followed in 2016 when the sales team was awarded the ‘number one Victorian office of the year for average sales results per agent’ and at the Australian national awards on the Gold Coast the office was awarded the number two office in the same category across the nation behind the North Sydney office.

Since opening its doors the office has sold over 680 properties, and the property management department collects over $5.5 million dollars in rent for their landlords each year.

“Awards and recognition are great, but being able to contribute positively to a community through employing good local people, volunteer work and donations is both important and satisfying as a business owner”, said Evan.

Among other community based voluntary positions, you may see Harcourts Warragul employees walking dogs for the elderly, delivering meals on wheels and training young drivers through the local L2P Program, all of which are encouraged as part of their employment at Harcourts Warragul.

“Warragul and greater Gippsland has much to offer and we look forward to servicing this market for many years to come” said Shaney Muldowney whom has been employed at Harcourts Warragul since 2014.

The team at Harcourts Warragul can be contacted at 1/66 Smith Street Warragul or by phone on 5622 3333.
