Gippsland Travel’s personally escorted tours are a popular way to travel
Jacquey Turner has thoroughly enjoyed escorting groups over the years, from the popular well-established tours to the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia, and to new destinations East Coast USA/Canada and Spain/Portugal.
Each year Jacquey, offers a range of personally escorted tours to suit travellers looking for something new and different as well as repeating itineraries that have become so well loved over the years. In preparation for one of the two new tours for 2018, Jacquey has just undertaken a research trip to Southern Africa and Madagascar and found the region, and especially the wildlife, fascinating.
The other new tour destination for 2018 is Sri Lanka. This will be a shorter tour than normal for those with limited time available, but I know you shall have an incredible time in the two weeks touring this jewel of a country.
It seems amazing to be talking about tours so far ahead, but we know that many of you like plenty of notice of upcoming tours so that you can choose what suits you best from a two to three year program.
We are looking at three tours in 2019 and giving you the opportunity of expressing an interest in either UK/Ireland or Canada/Alaska as the mid-year tour. If you would like to visit either of these destinations, please let us know as we always aim to tailor our touring program to best suit demand.
Egypt/East Africa has been a long-standing and highly popular tour and we are delighted to be introducing the National Parks of Western America with a Mississippi Cruise to the 2019 program for the first time.
In 2020, we will be revisiting Spain and Portugal and adding the new destination of Central America and Cuba. We anticipate the National Parks of Western America and Mississippi Cruise will be heavily subscribed in 2019 and will warrant a return visit the following year.
