“Having the right agency to conduct the recruitment campaign is critical to ensure our future ceo has the right attitude, skill set and experience to best steer the organisation for the next five years.
“Davidson Executive Recruitment has been selected to head the recruitment campaign based on their extensive experience in corporate level human resourcing and will be inviting applications on behalf of council for the ceo role.
“We now look forward to getting the process underway and working closely with Davidson Executive Recruitment to find the best possible candidate to lead our organisation into the future,” Cr Gauci said.
Acting corporate and community services director Malcolm Lewis said they anticipated the recruitment process will take between four to six months.

Mr Lewis said the $35,000 cost reflected an accepted industry practice in order to recruit a high calibre ceo.
