To Farm World Management for no longer having pensioner concession tickets. I spoke to several pensioners who said they will not attend again. Several exhibitors also told me they are not happy with management. What is going on?

A bouquet for those that established the new zebra crossing in Drouin’s main street. Now we can park at the rear of the Amcal Chemist, collect our prescriptions and then get safely across to the post office without searching for a park in the main street.

BUT a brick for the owners of the Amcal chemist as they still make us walk up a steep flight of stairs instead of a more practical ramp.

AND a big brick for the impatient drivers that cannot give up a few seconds of their day while ww cross. You will be old one day

How can Baw Baw Shire computer equipment cost $1.5 million dollars. Are they gold lined?

To Warren Turner who, contrary to public opinion is actually trying to build a shopping centre in Warragul on the former Bonlac milk factory site that will benefit this fast growing town. Good on you Warren for persevering for the past 11 years even with the obstacles Baw Baw Shire Council keep putting in front of you.

Accolades to the woman who “rescued” a clearly overwrought young man in the Woolworths’ carpark on Wednesday.

He was almost hysterically trying to explain on his phone to his mother the fact that he had lost his wallet with all his cards and money and had no way of getting home on the train.

If anyone found a wallet on Wednesday it would be fantastic to hear that they have handed it in to the police so that it can be returned to this young man. Yes it is a fine line between potential intrusion and necessary support but totally heartwarming to observe at least one other prepared to step in and help.

A bouquet to Denis who buys his Age newspaper in the Plaza arcade and reads it at the Bean Scene. He then donates it for other Age readers. Any more Denises (M) or Denises (F) out there?

Bricks to the Baw Baw Shire Council for chopping down an established healthy tree in the town centre.

This tree has provided shade for many a weary shopper or busker and I am very disappointed to see it gone.
