Fail for Harriet

Member for Eastern Victoria Harriet Shing has failed primary school.

She has been too busy to meet with concerned Yarragon community members to help put a stop to the fast tracking sale of the Old Yarragon Primary School site.

Community members were heartened by the support of the Baw Baw Shire who passed a unanimous motion last meeting that asked for the Minister of Planning’s Fast Track process to be replaced with a time period that allows for the Baw Baw Shire to do an up-to-date whole of town plan that would take into account this site.

I hope Harriet is not merely supporting the ‘cash grab’ of her boss, Premier Andrews in this matter and instead decides to take on board the needs of a local community.
