Jesse Deane – Brass and Woodwind Adjudicator
Jesse Deane is a Melbourne-based woodwind specialist and educator. With a Masters in Performance Teaching and a Graduate Diploma in Education, Jesse currently works in a variety of settings while conducting ensembles, teaching classroom music, providing individual instrumental lessons and running music workshops.
Jesse graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts with first class honours in 2011. During his studies he was awarded the Lynn Kann memorial prize for excellence in performance and performed as part of the Just Sax saxophone quartet who won the North Perth music competition. Jesse also performed with the Western Australian Youth Jazz Orchestra during his studies and was awarded the Jack Bendat travel scholarship to attend the 2012 international saxophone congress.
More recently Jesse has presented recitals in Europe as a part of Ad Lib, in Melbourne for White Night and performed with the Melbourne Saxophone Collective at the Melbourne Recital Centre.
