Carrie is one of Australia’s most versatile performers in Opera and Music Theatre with a career spanning over the last 30 years.

She most recently performed with Opera Australia in Carmen, Cavalleria Rusticana / Pagliacci and King Roger.

Other Opera Australia credits include ‘Gotterdamm­erung’, ‘La Boheme’, ‘The Pearl Fishers’, ‘Elixir of Love’, ‘Turandot', ‘Don Pasquale' in Tokyo, ‘Lucia di Lammermoor', ‘Aida', ‘Otello', ‘Madama Butterfly', ‘Un Ballo', ‘Pirates of Penzance', ‘The Merry Widow’, ‘The Rake's Progress', ‘Lakme', ‘Mozart's Requiem', 'The Gondoliers', ‘HMAS Pinafore/Trial by Jury', ‘Mikado', ‘Marriage of Figaro', ‘Tosca', ‘Die Fledermaus' and ‘Software' and ‘The Sound Garden' for Oz Opera School’s Co.

Her Victorian Opera credits include ‘Sunday in the Park with George’ and ‘Sweeney Todd’.

She has performed ‘Orpheus and Euridice' and ‘The Magic Flute' for State Opera of S.A. and Co. Opera Adelaide.

Carrie has played leading roles in many Australian production­s including ‘Les Miserables', ‘Cats’, ‘Hair', ‘Return to the Forbidden Planet', ‘The Dusty Springfiel­d Story', ‘Ain't Necessaril­y Rowe', ‘Hey Hey It's Cinderella', ‘Crusade The Concert', ‘The King of Country', ‘Metro Street', ‘Nostrodama­s’, ‘Sideshow Alley', ‘Jerry Springer the Opera' and ‘Carousel', where she won a Green Room award for 'Best Supporting Actress in a Musical’ for her role as Carrie.

Her TV credits include: Jenny McKenna in Neighbours in 2005 - 2006.

Carrie is also a vocal teacher and examiner at the Melbourne Conservato­rium of Music and VCASS Secondary College.

Curtis Bayliss is obsessed with the paintings of Rupert Bunny (1862-1947) and teaching his primary school aged son to dance to Earth Wind and Fire.

The voice teacher at Camberwell Grammar School and Director of Singing at Melbourne High School, he also maintains a busy private voice studio with students ranging from beginner nine yearolds to Broadway and West End experience­d performers.
