Bulldogs win first game

-

The Bunyip Bulldogs senior women’s team scored their first win in the South East Women’s Football development league at the weekend.

With Karingal coming off a winning streak and Bunyip chasing their first win, the match was always going to be tough.

Karingal led the match going into the last quarter by a goal before Bunyip players Emma Ramage, Erin Smith, Tara Barclay and Shelby Parnaby took it to a new level with pressure all over the field.

Karingal found it hard to pass Taylah Roberts and Mel Bellu in the backline and with Emma Ramage up forward snagging two goals, Bunyip Football Club and senior coach Shelby Parnaby walked away with their first win for the 2017 season.
