Off the Leash show supports beyondblue

-

Off the Leash Theatre has announced an alliance with beyondblue for its musical “tick, tick…BOOM!”

The company has committed to donate $1 from every ticket sold to beyondblue. Ambassador Leah Mether was also special guest speaker at the show’s launch at The Courthouse.

Attended by company members, friends, family and the local art network on a particularly frosty night, the launch quickly hotted up as the talented cast of Micaela Philips, Bayne Bradshaw and Liam Charleston performed three songs from the show.

They were conducted by musical director William Yates and accompanied by local musician Malcolm McCaffery.

Guests also heard from director Michelle Theunissen-Scott.

The musical, “tick, tick…BOOM!” has already been performed in Gembrook and Warragul. The last two shows will be held at Drouin Anglican Church on Friday and Saturday at 8pm.

Tickets are available from offtheleash.com.au
