Remanded after arrest
A Warragul man was arrested and remanded in custody after failing to appear in court in relation to a number of charges.
Baw Baw CIU detectives arrested the 28-year-old man last Monday. The man was remanded in custody until Wednesday when he appeared at Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court and further remanded.
The man was arrested in relation to three outstanding warrants relation to 20 charges including burglary, theft, drug offences and weapon offences.
The charges relate to incidents last year and theft of a car last month. Police also allege the man was involved in a recent burglary at St Paul’s Anglican Grammar School.
The man will reappear at LVMC on August 16.
