Success for youth theatre

-

Warragul Youth Theatre celebrated a “very successful” season of “Beauty and the Beast” over the recent school holidays.

The eight shows over five days were virtually sold out.

Production manager Trudy Tambassis said the cast of 29 children ranged in age from eight to 17 years, with a mix of experience and new members taking to the stage.

Ms Tambassis said the season was “very successful”, adding patrons were becoming more familiar with the new venue - Warragul Exhibition Hall. She added local disability groups and aged care attended due to greater accessibility.

Warragul Youth Theatre is now preparing for its next production “Cinderella” at the Warragul Exhibition Hall. It will be held during the second week of the September school holidays.
