CLOSE ON GOAL KICKING LIST

Small forwards Chris Dunne (Leongatha) and Mitch Bennett (Maffra) are locked in the lead on Gippsland League’s goal kicking list.

Both are on 40 goals for the year after Dunne kicked three on Saturday and Bennett two.

Warragul’s Brayden Fowler is third on 35 goals, sharing the spot with Damien Cupido who won’t kick any more after leaving Bairnsdale in late June.

Maffra’s Daniel Bedggood and Darren Sheen are close up on 33 goals and Traralgon’s Leigh Stockdale (32) is just eight goals from the lead.
