Choose your own adventure at your library these holidays

-

West Gippsland Libraries will offer a host of free school holiday activities at libraries across Baw Baw Shire this September and October.

Some of the highlights include a creative writing and illustration workshop with author Spider Lee at Warragul Library on 25 September, and a hip hop dance session with Studio Samsara at Drouin Library on 28 September.

Local yoga studio Nourish ‘n’ Flourish will also host a special kids yoga session at the Yarragon Mobile Library stop on 25 September.

Kids aged 12 and above are invited to celebrate International Games Week at Warragul Library with a special tabletop games session with David from Hobby Bastion on 31 October.

Regular Story Time and Baby Rhyme Time sessions will also continue throughout the break so that our youngest library members don’t miss out on the fun.

Library membership is free and offers access to over 1 million items including DVDs, magazines, CDs, eBooks, free music downloads and more. Join online today at www.wgrlc.vic.gov.au and when you join up your children, they get a special kid’s monster bag and card to make borrowing just that little bit more fun. Free Wi-Fi for all your devices and access to public PCs is also available.

For more details about school holiday activities, pick up a What’s On guide from your local library, visit wgrlc.eventbrite.com.au or call 5622 2848 for assistance.

Please note: Our libraries will be closed for the Grand Final Public Holiday on Friday 29 September.
