Holiday art fun for kids

-

Children will unleash their creativity over the school holidays with Baw Baw Art Alliance workshops on Monday, September 25.

Artists and teachers Jessie McLennan and Prue Barridge will run the workshop sessions from 10am to 12noon and 1pm to 3pm in the Artspaces of Trafalgar Railway Station.

Activities will include printing and decorating a t-shirt, creating pom poms and other items from wool, weaving, potato and shaving cream printing, and a craft table loaded with materials for creative construction.

Jessie and Prue first conducted children’s art activities from the National Gallery of Victoria in Trafalgar during the 2016/17 summer holidays. These activities proved so popular that the Baw Baw Arts Alliance members decided to run similar activities for the upcoming term three holidays.

The Artspaces will be filled with children of many ages engaged in act activities.

Prue and Jessie are sure to inspire everyone, including adults. All children joining the workshops must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

As the Baw Baw Arts Alliance is a not-forprofit organisation, a small charge of $10 per session will apply.

To sign up for these fabulous art activities, call Prue Barridge on 0417 500 244.
