Drug charges follow arrest

An 18-year-old Warragul woman was arrested at the Club Hotel, Warragul on Saturday for possession of drugs.

Police were called to the hotel to assist with an alleged drug affected woman.

The woman was located in the toilets. Police searched the woman and located three bags of methamphetamine (ice) and a bag of cannabis.

The woman was taken back to Warragul Police Station where a further search by police located more methamphetamine and tablets in her bra.

The woman was charged with possessing drugs of dependence and failing to answer bail conditions.

She will appear at Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
