Police arrest two males

Two males were arrested in relation to criminal damage and offensive behaviour following a number of incidents in Warragul on Wednesday.

Police said the youths were involved in an incident at the milk bar at the Sutton St/Bowen St roundabout in the morning.

The youths also were later involved in incidents a Railway Park, Warragul in the afternoon where police allege they were making nuisances of themselves. The two males were arrested by police. A 20-year-old was charged with criminal damage and an 18-year-old will be charged on summons with offensive behaviour.

Police are investigat­ing a random incident of criminal damage in Affleck St, Warragul on Wednesday night.

Police said the victim was home at the time when a large rock was thrown through the glass panel of the front door.

The next morning the victim found their vehicle, parked at the front of the house, also had been targeted. The driver’s side window was smashed off the car.

In an unrelated incident, police are investigat­ing damage at the Trafalgar Railway Station art gallery last week.

A rock was thrown through a gallery window overnight on Monday night.

A welder and power tools were stolen from the Gippy Goat farm at Yarragon last week.

Police said offenders gained access to the Gordons Rd property overnight on Monday Night.

Offenders entered a shed on the property and stole a large quantity of tools including power tools and a welder.

A Playstatio­n 4 was stolen from a house in Drouin last week while the occupants were asleep.

Offenders forced entry to the Cypress Crt home.

Police said the occupants were asleep when the intruders gained entry and left with a Playstatio­n 4 console.
