Giblin to lead Uncle Bobs

Brian Giblin was re-elected president at the Uncle Bobs Club annual general meeting.

The meeting was held at the Warragul Country Club on Sunday, September 24.

Ross Smith and Pam Milburn from head office were in attendance and both spoke highly of the work done by all. This included the work by the members from Neerim, Drouin and Bunyip groups.

Ross Smith conducted the election of office bearers. Nominated again were Brian Giblin for president, Karen Lindorff for secretary and Kevin Potter for treasurer. They each accepted the nomination.

Committee members are Jo Giblin, Mark Walkinshaw, Hazel Wells and Joyce Lindorff.

A special presentation was made to Robert Kippen with a plaque of appreciation given for all the work done when Uncle Bobs Club have sausage sizzles.

Mr Kippen is always available to transport the barbecue to and from Coles.

In response, he thanked the committee for the award and said it was always a pleasure to help.
