Warragul Community House
High quality, affordable social and learning experiences are equally accessible to everyone in the Baw Baw Shire.
For Warragul Community House, the role of education has changed, coming to mean broader lifelong education, which takes place at home, in work places, and everywhere else that people gather. It takes place in both formal education and training structures and in informal groups of people learning from each other.
“The seeds of continuity of life itself and survival, lies in the hands of the people – to pass on to generations as yet unborn.” Pathways to Learning, Pat Boyanton, 1988.
It is never too late to learn, to connect, and to explore learning opportunities. It can be as simple as becoming involved in our book club and discussing a current tome, participating in art and craft classes to explore your creative side, challenging yourself with new technology skills, or keeping up with the latest software, or even cooking up a storm.
Warragul Community House provides the environment and support to guide you along the path of learning and help keep you from isolation.
