Neerim suffer loss

Neerim District’s division one team lost in the first round of West Gippsland Bowls Division Midweek Pennant against Yallourn 91/54 last Tuesday.

Pat Fraser-Aurisch (skip), Dianne Tame, Gerald Winter and Kevin Aurisch maintained a lead through half the game against D. Steele’s team. It became close for the remainder of the game, Neerim District going down 23/25.

Elizabeth Hodge (skip), Thelma Schroeder, Russell Meehan and Colin McKay were behind all game against D. Kennedy’s team. They lost 42/15.

Karren Sheers (skip), Maureen Halligan, Jim Schroeder and Gerry Engelstad lead for over half the game against F. Clarke’s team. The opposition picked up and Neerim District lost 16/24.
