Spec­tac­u­lar mu­sic at Chairo

Ju­nior and mid­dle school stu­dents at Chairo Chris­tian School, Drouin put their mu­si­cal tal­ents on show in a mu­si­cal spec­tac­u­lar on Wed­nes­day night.

School head of mu­sic Nathan Smith said more stu­dents were in­volved in the pro­gram than the mid-year show­case, with 20 acts on the pro­gram.

“We have a wide va­ri­ety of stu­dents per­form­ing, with both tra­di­tional and spiritual com­posers,” he said.

A wide va­ri­ety of mu­si­cal ta­lent was on dis­play, with in­stru­ments in­clud­ing pi­ano, clar­inet, trom­bone, gui­tar and drums.

Vo­cal­ists also de­lighted the crowd, with the ju­nior and mid­dle school choirs also per­form­ing.

“We have Phar­rell Wil­liams which will hope­fully make you happy and if that’s not enough, we’re fin­ish­ing with Te­quila,” Mr Smith an­nounced to the crowd.

The school thanked Mr Smith, April Beamish and the main­te­nance team for help­ing to make the event a suc­cess.

Chairo Chris­tian School will also fea­ture a show­case for its se­nior stu­dents.
